Initially conceived in 2005, the awards were established to acknowledge the best motor and sailing yachts across various sizes and classes, both newly commissioned and rebuilt or refitted designs.
Judged by a panel of current or former superyacht owners, the process is designed to be impartial, and is now considered the premier awards show for the global superyacht industry.
Award Highlights:
The 73 metre Perini Navi built, Philippe Briand designed “Grace E” scooped top honours for Motor Yacht of the Year, as well in her size class. Other standout recipients include the beautiful Royal Huisman built South African 47.6 metre sailing yacht Wisp, Feadship’s recent addition Como, and the Motor Yacht Arctic P in the Special Category Voyager Award.
