Over the past twenty years Vietnam has become a major regional economic player. It is also gaining a strong foothold on the world stage. The country is set to grow further in strength, with its booming export trade and fast-paced domestic industry displaying exceptional results.

Vietnam’s new ‘super-wealthy’ are declaring themselves at an exponential rate. The number of Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWI) in Vietnam has more than doubled in the last five years. This new wealth has helped spawn the development of some world-class marine amenities and infrastructure, required to support the newly seen national interest for yachting.

Like its powerhouse neighbours Singapore, Thailand, South Korea and Hong Kong, where yachting has been established for some time, Vietnam is now stepping up to become a world class international destination of its own.

The country is also the next frontier in Asia’s luxury real estate market. High in the sky penthouses, elegant villas, prestigious cars, luxury fashion and high-end brand names have all been comfortably selling in confidant amounts for years now. As attention for luxury comes into play, the focus and attention from the broader international yachting community is beginning to fix its sights firmly on Vietnam.

Vietnam has a vast coastline, which is dotted with stunning archipelagos, amazing craggy limestone Islands and coral atolls, as well as the obligatory endless runs of sun bleached beaches. With boundless natural beauty, towering dynamic mega-cities, its deep-rooted Indo-Chinese history, incredible variety of cuisines, colourful culture and pleasantly happy and diversified people, the attraction to visit Vietnam couldn’t be better witnessed than now.

“The fact is Vietnam boosts a truly new and unique experience for yacht owners.”

Seal Superyachts has newly granted access to the famous and mighty Mekong River. It is now possible to cruise and discover the abundance of rich oriental history and unique biodiversity, which the ‘Mother of all Asian rivers’ cradles along her flowing banks.

The remittances of Colonial French IndoChine ways still provide the essence of ‘old times past’. The Mekong delta was a central region of the 12th century Khmer Kingdom (Kampuchea). Many old temples and ruins, spread out in remote and unknown areas of Vietnam are all ready to be explored.

While embarking on your journey along Mekong River, you may find a place to anchor on one its quiet banks. Watch the locals go about their business, trading on the river as they have done for centuries. Fruits, vegetables, seafood, rice and flowers are bartered and sold as valued daily commodities.

When ready, venture a little further up the river into one of the fastest growing megacities in the world, Ho Chi Minh City (formerly know as Saigon), which will be waiting to embrace you.

Traveling northward away from the Mekong Delta, the newly built superyacht marina in Nha Trang comes in to view. Continue on to the romantic and elegant ‘must-stop’ town of ‘Hoi An’.

When reaching the top of Vietnam, we recommend you anchor and enjoy the World Heritage UNESCO Halong Bay. It offers a magical and elegant experience like no other.

Nowhere in the world holds such diversity as Vietnam, when it comes to yachting. Whether you are wishing for beautiful remote islands, or looking to experience one of Vietnams super entertaining dynamic mega-cities, this amazing country has it all.

The secret is out – Come and see what Vietnam has to offer. A touch of history with a touch of glamour and plan to stay a little longer than you thought, because this raw and beautifully enchanting country will have you wanting to come back for more.
